Getting started with Happy Place Paws

To ensure every pet has a safe, happy, and healthy experience at Happy Place Paws, we have a few simple requirements in place. These help us create a calm, structured environment where your pets (and ours!) can thrive. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to chat!

Requirements

  • All pets must be up to date on flea/tick prevention.

  • All pets must be current on vaccinations and routine vet care.

  • Temperament testing is required before any group activity (charged at regular rates). More on that below!

  • A free meet & greet is required for all new clients. More on that below!

  • Dogs must be potty trained; any damage from accidents is the owner’s responsibility.

Temperament Testing

We require a test day (or walk) to make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and a great fit for our crew!

  • Daycare: 1 required test day

  • Boarding: 1 required test overnight

  • Walks/Runs: 1 required test group walk/run

    All temperament testing is charged at the regular service rate.

Meet & Greets

A complimentary meet & greet is required to get to know you and your pet before we begin care.

  • Daycare & Boarding: at Happy Place Paws

  • Walks/Runs/Drop-Ins: at client’s home
